² Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases?^{(A) 3} Do you not know that we are to judge angels, to say nothing of ordinary matters?

¹⁴ they will wage war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.”^(A)

¹⁵ And he said to me, “The waters that you saw, where the whore^[a] is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages.^{(B) 16} And the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast will hate the whore;^[b] they will make her desolate and naked; they will devour her flesh and burn her up with fire.^(C)

²¹ To the one who conquers I will give a place with me on my throne, just as I myself conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.^(A)

²⁶ They shall live in safety in it and shall build houses and plant vineyards. They shall live in safety when I execute judgments upon all their neighbors who have treated them with contempt. And they shall know that I am the Lord their God.^(A)

²² I will rise up against them, says the Lord of hosts, and will cut off from Babylon name and remnant, offspring and posterity, says the Lord.^{(A) 23} And I will make it a possession of the screech owl^[a] and pools of water, and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction, says the Lord of hosts.^(B)
