² Or do you not know that ^(A)the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases? ³ Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this life!

¹⁴ They ^(A)will make war on the Lamb, and ^(B)the Lamb will conquer them, for he is ^(C)Lord of lords and ^(D)King of kings, and those with him are ^(E)called and chosen and faithful.”

¹⁵ And the angel^[a] said to me, ^(F)“The waters that you saw, where the prostitute is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages. ¹⁶ And ^(G)the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast ^(H)will hate the prostitute. They will make her ^(I)desolate and ^(J)naked, and ^(K)devour her flesh and ^(L)burn her up with fire,

^21 (A)The one who conquers, ^(B)I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as ^(C)I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

^26 (A)And they shall dwell securely in it, and they shall build houses and plant vineyards. They shall dwell securely, ^(B)when I execute judgments upon all their neighbors ^(C)who have treated them with contempt. ^(D)Then they will know that I am the Lord their God.”

²² “I will rise up against them,” declares the Lord of hosts, “and will cut off from Babylon name and ^(A)remnant, ^(B)descendants and posterity,” declares the Lord. ²³ “And I will make it a possession of the ^(C)hedgehog,^[a] and pools of water, and I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,” declares the Lord of hosts.
