¹⁸ He sends out his word and melts them;
    he makes his wind blow, and the waters flow.^(A)

¹⁵ He sends out his command to the earth;
    his word runs swiftly.^(A)

⁹ for he spoke, and it came to be;
    he commanded, and it stood firm.^(A)

¹⁰ By the breath of God ice is given,
    and the broad waters are frozen fast.^(A)

¹⁶ that run dark with ice,
    turbid with melting snow.
¹⁷ In time of heat they disappear;
    when it is hot, they vanish from their place.^(A)

²⁰ he sent out his word and healed them
    and delivered them from destruction.^(A)
