¹³ For You formed my inward parts;
You ^[a]covered me in my mother’s womb.

⁵ As ^(A)you do not know what is the way of the ^[a]wind,
^(B)Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child,
So you do not know the works of God who makes everything.

⁸ ‘Your^(A) hands have made me and fashioned me,
An intricate unity;
Yet You would ^(B)destroy me.
⁹ Remember, I pray, ^(C)that You have made me like clay.
And will You turn me into dust again?
^10 (D)Did You not pour me out like milk,
And curdle me like cheese,
¹¹ Clothe me with skin and flesh,
And knit me together with bones and sinews?

⁹ But those who seek my life, to destroy it,
Shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
