^15 (A)But overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea,
For His mercy endures forever;

⁵³ And He ^(A)led them on safely, so that they did not fear;
But the sea ^(B)overwhelmed their enemies.

^9 (A)He sent signs and wonders into the midst of you, O Egypt,
^(B)Upon Pharaoh and all his servants.

¹⁰ You ^(A)showed signs and wonders against Pharaoh,
Against all his servants,
And against all the people of his land.
For You knew that they ^(B)acted ^[a]proudly against them.
So You ^(C)made a name for Yourself, as it is this day.
^11 (D)And You divided the sea before them,
So that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land;
And their persecutors You threw into the deep,
^(E)As a stone into the mighty waters.

⁷¹ That we should be saved from our enemies
And from the hand of all who hate us,
^72 (A)To perform the mercy promised to our fathers
And to remember His holy covenant,
^73 (B)The oath which He swore to our father Abraham:
⁷⁴ To grant us that we,
Being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
Might ^(C)serve Him without fear,

¹² In Your mercy ^(A)cut^[a] off my enemies,
And destroy all those who afflict my soul;
For I am Your servant.

^6 (A)Pour out Your wrath on the ^[a]nations that ^(B)do not know You,
And on the kingdoms that ^(C)do not call on Your name.
⁷ For they have devoured Jacob,
And laid waste his dwelling place.

¹⁰ You blew with Your wind,
The sea covered them;
They sank like lead in the mighty waters.
