⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of ^(A)darkness into His marvelous light;

¹⁵ The Lord delighted only in your fathers, to love them; and He chose their ^[a]descendants after them, you above all peoples, as it is this day.

⁶ “For you are a ^[a]holy people to the Lord your God; ^(A)the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. ⁷ The Lord did not set His ^(B)love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were ^(C)the least of all peoples;

^10 (A)“Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I ^(B)will dwell in your midst,” says the Lord. ^11 (C)“Many nations shall be joined to the Lord ^(D)in that day, and they shall become ^(E)My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then ^(F)you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you. ¹² And the Lord will ^(G)take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem.
