⁴ I will send you rain^(A) in its season,^(B) and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit.^{(C) 5} Your threshing will continue until grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting, and you will eat all the food you want^(D) and live in safety in your land.^(E)

¹⁰ Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food^(A) will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.^{(B) 11} You will be enriched^(C) in every way so that you can be generous^(D) on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.^(E)

⁶ He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. When he had taken the seven loaves and given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people, and they did so. ⁷ They had a few small fish as well; he gave thanks for them also and told the disciples to distribute them.^{(A) 8} The people ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.^{(B) 9} About four thousand were present. After he had sent them away,

³² For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.^{(A) 33} But seek first his kingdom^(B) and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.^(C)
