    more than those who watch for the morning,

¹⁴⁷ I rise before dawn and cry for help;
    I put my hope in your words.^(A)

⁶ when I think of you on my bed
    and meditate on you in the watches of the night,^(A)

“Upon a watchtower I stand, O Lord,
    continually by day,
and at my post I am stationed
