⁴ That is where the tribes go up—
    the tribes of the Lord—
to praise the name of the Lord
    according to the statute given to Israel.

² Let the redeemed^(C) of the Lord tell their story—
    those he redeemed from the hand of the foe,
³ those he gathered^(D) from the lands,
    from east and west, from north and south.^[a]

¹³ For the Lord has chosen Zion,^(A)
    he has desired it for his dwelling,^(B) saying,

¹⁹ Open for me the gates^(A) of the righteous;
    I will enter^(B) and give thanks to the Lord.

⁶⁸ but he chose the tribe of Judah,^(A)
    Mount Zion,^(B) which he loved.

¹³ I will come to your temple with burnt offerings^(A)
    and fulfill my vows^(B) to you—
¹⁴ vows my lips promised and my mouth spoke
    when I was in trouble.
¹⁵ I will sacrifice fat animals to you
    and an offering of rams;
    I will offer bulls and goats.^(C)

¹⁶ Come and hear,^(D) all you who fear God;
    let me tell^(E) you what he has done for me.
