Psalm 106^(A)

⁶ And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate^(A) and gracious God, slow to anger,^(B) abounding in love^(C) and faithfulness,^{(D) 7} maintaining love to thousands,^(E) and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin.^(F) Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished;^(G) he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.”^(H)

¹⁷ “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”^(A)

Psalm 107

⁴⁵ that you may be children^(A) of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.^(B)

¹⁸ Then Moses said, “Now show me your glory.”^(A)

¹⁹ And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass^(B) in front of you, and I will proclaim my name,^(C) the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.^(D)
