    I meditate^(B) on it all day long.

⁴⁸ I reach out for your commands, which I love,
    that I may meditate^(A) on your decrees.

¹³¹ I open my mouth and pant,^(A)
    longing for your commands.^(B)

¹¹⁷ Uphold me,^(A) and I will be delivered;^(B)
    I will always have regard for your decrees.^(C)

⁷⁸ May the arrogant^(A) be put to shame for wronging me without cause;^(B)
    but I will meditate on your precepts.
