¹⁹ and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, ^(A)according to the working of His mighty power ²⁰ which He worked in Christ when ^(B)He raised Him from the dead and ^(C)seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, ^21 (D)far above all ^(E)principality^[a] and ^[b]power and ^[c]might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

²² And ^(F)He put all things under His feet, and gave Him ^(G)to be head over all things to the church,

The Name of Jesus Forbidden

¹³ Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, ^(A)and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

^31 (A)Him God has exalted to His right hand to be ^(B)Prince and ^(C)Savior, ^(D)to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. ³² And ^(E)we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit ^(F)whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

¹⁴ But you denied ^(A)the Holy One ^(B)and the Just, and ^(C)asked for a murderer to be granted to you, ¹⁵ and killed the ^[a]Prince of life, ^(D)whom God raised from the dead, ^(E)of which we are witnesses.

^32 (A)This Jesus God has raised up, ^(B)of which we are all witnesses. ³³ Therefore ^(C)being exalted ^[a]to ^(D)the right hand of God, and ^(E)having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He ^(F)poured out this which you now see and hear.

³⁴ “For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself:

³⁶ “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
