¹³ For you have delivered my soul from death
    and my feet from falling,
so that I may walk before God
    in the light of life.^(A)

⁴ he will wipe every tear from their eyes.
Death will be no more;
mourning and crying and pain will be no more,
for^[a] the first things have passed away.”^(A)

¹³ For great is your steadfast love toward me;
    you have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.^(A)

¹⁷ for the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd,
    and he will guide them to springs of the water of life,
and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”^(A)

⁸     he will swallow up death forever.
Then the Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces,
    and the disgrace of his people he will take away from all the earth,
    for the Lord has spoken.^(A)

¹⁸ When I thought, “My foot is slipping,”
    your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up.^(A)

¹⁵ But God will ransom my soul from the power of Sheol,
    for he will receive me. Selah^(A)

²⁴ though we stumble, we^[a] shall not fall headlong,
    for the Lord holds us^[b] by the hand.^(A)
