¹⁸ The Lord is near^(A) to all who call on him,^(B)
    to all who call on him in truth.
¹⁹ He fulfills the desires^(C) of those who fear him;^(D)
    he hears their cry^(E) and saves them.^(F)

¹⁶ As for me, I call to God,
    and the Lord saves me.
¹⁷ Evening,^(A) morning^(B) and noon^(C)
    I cry out in distress,
    and he hears my voice.

⁶ Hear my prayer, Lord;
    listen to my cry^(A) for mercy.
⁷ When I am in distress,^(B) I call^(C) to you,
    because you answer^(D) me.
