⁴ The Lord is high above all nations
    and his glory above the heavens.^(A)

¹ O Lord, our Sovereign,
    how majestic is your name in all the earth!

² The Lord is great in Zion;
    he is exalted over all the peoples.^(A)

⁹ For you, O Lord, are most high over all the earth;
    you are exalted far above all gods.^(A)

66 Thus says the Lord:
Heaven is my throne,
    and the earth is my footstool;
so what kind of house could you build for me,
    what sort of place for me to rest?^(A)

²² It is he who sits above the circle of the earth,
    and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,
who stretches out the heavens like a curtain
    and spreads them like a tent to live in,^(A)

¹⁷ All the nations are as nothing before him;
    they are accounted by him as less than nothing and emptiness.^(A)

¹⁵ Even the nations are like a drop from a bucket
    and are accounted as dust on the scales;
    see, he takes up the isles like fine dust.^(A)

¹⁰ For your steadfast love is as high as the heavens;
    your faithfulness extends to the clouds.^(A)
