¹⁵ Let them be continually before the Lord,
That He may ^(A)cut off the memory of them from the earth;

^16 (A)The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
^(B)To ^[a]cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

^8 (A)You have set our iniquities before You,
Our ^(B)secret sins in the light of Your countenance.

^17 (A)The memory of him perishes from the earth,
And he has no name ^[a]among the renowned.

² They ^[a]do not consider in their hearts
That ^(A)I remember all their wickedness;
Now their own deeds have surrounded them;
They are before My face.

²² For though you wash yourself with lye, and use much soap,
Yet your iniquity is ^(A)marked^[a] before Me,” says the Lord God.

¹⁵ You shall leave your name ^(A)as a curse to ^(B)My chosen;
For the Lord God will slay you,
And ^(C)call His servants by another name;

^13 (A)Let his ^[a]posterity be cut off,
And in the generation following let their ^(B)name be blotted out.
