²⁵ He spoke, and the winds rose,
    stirring up the waves.

⁸ fire and hail, snow and clouds,^[a]
    wind and weather that obey him,

³ The floods have risen up, O Lord.
    The floods have roared like thunder;
    the floods have lifted their pounding waves.

³⁴ He spoke, and hordes of locusts came—
    young locusts beyond number.

⁷ He causes the clouds to rise over the whole earth.
    He sends the lightning with the rain
    and releases the wind from his storehouses.

³¹ When the Lord spoke, flies descended on the Egyptians,
    and gnats swarmed across Egypt.
