Remember me,(A) Lord, when you show favor(B) to your people,
    come to my aid(C) when you save them,
that I may enjoy the prosperity(D) of your chosen ones,(E)
    that I may share in the joy(F) of your nation
    and join your inheritance(G) in giving praise.

We have sinned,(H) even as our ancestors(I) did;
    we have done wrong and acted wickedly.(J)
When our ancestors were in Egypt,
    they gave no thought(K) to your miracles;
they did not remember(L) your many kindnesses,
    and they rebelled by the sea,(M) the Red Sea.[a]
Yet he saved them(N) for his name’s sake,(O)
    to make his mighty power(P) known.
