¹⁰ And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, ^(A)“Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?” ¹¹ Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; ^(B)and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.

² For ^(A)we all stumble in many things. ^(B)If anyone does not stumble in word, ^(C)he is a ^[a]perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

¹⁰ But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. ^(A)Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” ^(B)In all this Job did not ^(C)sin with his lips.

⁷ And so it was, after the Lord had spoken these words to Job, that the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has. ⁸ Now therefore, take for yourselves ^(A)seven bulls and seven rams, ^(B)go to My servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job shall ^(C)pray for you. For I will accept ^[a]him, lest I deal with you according to your folly; because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has.”
