³⁴ May my ^(A)meditation be sweet to Him;
I will be glad in the Lord.

¹⁷ Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—
¹⁸ Yet I will ^(A)rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.

² But ^(A)his delight is in the law of the Lord,
^(B)And in His law he ^[a]meditates day and night.

^127 (A)Therefore I love Your commandments
More than gold, yes, than fine gold!
¹²⁸ Therefore all Your precepts concerning all things
I consider to be right;
I hate every false way.

⁴⁷ And my spirit has ^(A)rejoiced in ^(B)God my Savior.

¹⁵ I will meditate on Your precepts,
And ^[a]contemplate Your ways.
¹⁶ I will ^(A)delight myself in Your statutes;
I will not forget Your word.

^111 (A)Your testimonies I have taken as a ^[a]heritage forever,
For they are the rejoicing of my heart.

⁵ My soul shall be satisfied as with ^[a]marrow and ^[b]fatness,
And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.
