¹² as far as the east is from the west,
    so far has he removed our transgressions^(A) from us.

²⁵ “I, even I, am he who blots out
    your transgressions,^(A) for my own sake,^(B)
    and remembers your sins^(C) no more.^(D)

¹⁸ Who is a God^(A) like you,
    who pardons sin^(B) and forgives^(C) the transgression
    of the remnant^(D) of his inheritance?^(E)
You do not stay angry^(F) forever
    but delight to show mercy.^(G)

¹⁷ Surely it was for my benefit^(A)
    that I suffered such anguish.^(B)
In your love you kept me
    from the pit^(C) of destruction;
you have put all my sins^(D)
    behind your back.^(E)

³⁴ No longer will they teach^(A) their neighbor,
    or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know^(B) me,
    from the least of them to the greatest,”
declares the Lord.
“For I will forgive^(C) their wickedness
    and will remember their sins^(D) no more.”

²⁰ In those days, at that time,”
    declares the Lord,
“search will be made for Israel’s guilt,
    but there will be none,^(A)
and for the sins^(B) of Judah,
    but none will be found,
    for I will forgive^(C) the remnant^(D) I spare.
