    rescue me^(A) from the hands of foreigners^(B)
whose mouths are full of lies,^(C)
    whose right hands are deceitful.^(D)

⁹ Those who surround me proudly rear their heads;
    may the mischief of their lips engulf them.^(A)

⁸ They scoff, and speak with malice;^(A)
    with arrogance^(B) they threaten oppression.^(C)

³ They sharpen their tongues like swords^(A)
    and aim cruel words like deadly arrows.^(B)
