² but their delight is in the law of the Lord,
    and on his law they meditate day and night.^(A)

⁹² If your law had not been my delight,
    I would have perished in my misery.

¹¹ I treasure your word in my heart,
    so that I may not sin against you.^(A)

¹⁶ Your words were found, and I ate them,
    and your words became to me a joy
    and the delight of my heart,
for I am called by your name,
    O Lord, God of hosts.^(A)

¹⁵ I will meditate on your precepts
    and fix my eyes on your ways.^(A)
16 I will delight in your statutes;
    I will not forget your word.^(B)

³⁵ Lead me in the path of your commandments,
    for I delight in it.

¹ Praise the Lord!
    Happy are those who fear the Lord,
    who greatly delight in his commandments.^(A)
