⁹ Then my soul will rejoice in the Lord,
    ^(A)exulting in his salvation.

^10 (A)I will greatly rejoice in the Lord;
    my soul shall exult in my God,
^(B)for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation;
    he has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decks himself ^(C)like a priest with a beautiful headdress,
    ^(D)and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

^10 (A)The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance;
    he will ^(B)bathe his feet in the blood of the wicked.
¹¹ Mankind will say, “Surely there is ^(C)a reward for the righteous;
    surely there is a God who ^(D)judges on earth.”
