¹³ while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing^(A) of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,^(B)

³⁴ “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom^(A) prepared for you since the creation of the world.^(B)

⁹ Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.^(A) How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

The Sheep and the Goats

³¹ “When the Son of Man comes^(A) in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.^(B)

⁸ For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye^(A)— ⁹ I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them.^[a](B) Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me.^(C)

¹⁰ “Shout^(D) and be glad, Daughter Zion.^(E) For I am coming,^(F) and I will live among you,”^(G) declares the Lord.^{(H) 11} “Many nations will be joined with the Lord in that day and will become my people.^(I) I will live among you and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you.^(J)
