⁵ He rebukes them in his anger^(A)
    and terrifies them in his wrath,^(B) saying,

⁴ but with righteousness^(A) he will judge the needy,^(B)
    with justice^(C) he will give decisions for the poor^(D) of the earth.
He will strike^(E) the earth with the rod of his mouth;^(F)
    with the breath^(G) of his lips he will slay the wicked.^(H)

⁵ The Lord is at your right hand^[a];^(A)
    he will crush kings^(B) on the day of his wrath.^(C)
6 He will judge the nations,^(D) heaping up the dead^(E)
    and crushing the rulers^(F) of the whole earth.

⁴⁹ He unleashed against them his hot anger,^(A)
    his wrath, indignation and hostility—
    a band of destroying angels.^(B)
50 He prepared a path for his anger;
    he did not spare them from death
    but gave them over to the plague.
