⁴ The One enthroned^(A) in heaven laughs;^(B)
    the Lord scoffs at them.

¹³ but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
    for he knows their day is coming.^(A)

²² He sits enthroned^(A) above the circle of the earth,
    and its people are like grasshoppers.^(B)
He stretches out the heavens^(C) like a canopy,^(D)
    and spreads them out like a tent^(E) to live in.^(F)

²⁶ I in turn will laugh^(A) when disaster^(B) strikes you;
    I will mock^(C) when calamity overtakes you^(D)—
