    the Lord turns my darkness into light.

⁷⁹ to shine on those living in darkness
    and in the shadow of death,^(A)
to guide our feet into the path of peace.”^(B)

¹⁶ I will lead^(A) the blind^(B) by ways they have not known,
    along unfamiliar paths I will guide them;
I will turn the darkness into light^(C) before them
