    my ^(C)stronghold and my deliverer,
my ^(D)shield and he in whom I take refuge,
    who ^(E)subdues peoples^[a] under me.

⁷ On God rests my ^(A)salvation and my glory;
    my mighty rock, ^(B)my refuge is God.
