^9 [a]Honor the Lord with thy riches, and with the first fruits of all thine increase.

¹⁰ So shall thy barns be filled with abundance, and thy presses shall ^[b]burst with new wine.

² The treasures of ^[a]wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.

³ The Lord will ^[b]not famish the soul of the righteous: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.

⁴ A ^[c]slothful hand maketh poor: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

¹⁵ The rich man’s goods are his ^[a]strong city: but the fear of the needy is their poverty.

²² The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he doth add ^[a]no sorrows with it.

^4 (A)Riches avail not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.

²⁵ The ^[a]liberal person shall have plenty: and he that watereth, shall also have rain.

²⁸ He that trusteth in his riches, shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a leaf.

⁷ There is that maketh himself rich, and hath nothing, and that maketh himself poor, having great riches.

⁸ A man will give his riches for the ransom of his life: but the poor ^[a]cannot hear the reproach.

¹¹ The ^[a]riches of vanity shall diminish: but he that gathereth with ^[b]the hand, shall increase them.

²² The good man shall give inheritance unto his children’s children: and the ^[a]riches of the sinner is laid up for the just.
