³³ The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the righteous.

³⁴ With the scornful ^[a]he scorneth, but he giveth grace unto the humble.

²³ Keep thine heart with all diligence: for thereout cometh ^[a]life.

²⁴ Put away from thee a froward mouth, and put wicked lips far from thee.

²⁵ Let thine eyes behold the right, and let thine eyelids direct thy way before thee.

^26 [b]Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be ordered aright.

²⁷ Turn not to the right hand, nor to the left, but remove thy foot from evil.

³⁵ But he that sinneth against me, hurteth his own soul: and all that hate me, love death.

⁶ Blessings are upon the head of the righteous: but iniquity shall cover the mouth of ^[a]the wicked.

¹⁷ He that is merciful, ^[a]rewardeth his own soul: but he that troubleth his own ^[b]flesh, is cruel.

³¹ Behold, the righteous shall be ^[a]recompensed in the earth: how much more the wicked and the sinner?

² A good man getteth favor of the Lord: but the man of wicked imaginations will he condemn.

¹² The wicked desireth the ^[a]net of evils: but the ^[b]root of the righteous giveth fruit.

²¹ Affliction followeth sinners: but unto the righteous, God will recompense good.

¹⁴ The heart that declineth, ^[a]shall be satiated with his own ways: but a good man shall depart from him.
