and do not choose any of his ways,

³¹Don’t envy violent people
or choose any of their ways.

¹⁶^(A)A gracious woman gets honor,
and ^(B)violent men get riches.

¹⁶A gracious woman gains honor;
violent men gain only wealth.

²⁹A man of violence ^(A)entices his neighbor
and leads him in a way that is not good.

²⁹Violent people entice their neighbors
and walk them down a path that isn’t good.
