⁴ Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,”
And call understanding your nearest kin,

And ^(B)those who seek me diligently will find me.

²¹ That I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth,
That I may fill their treasuries.

^8 (A)Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you;
^(B)Rebuke a wise man, and he will love you.

⁹ The way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord,
But He loves him who ^(A)follows righteousness.

^17 (A)Better is a dinner of ^[a]herbs where love is,
Than a fatted calf with hatred.
