⁸ guarding the paths of justice
    and preserving the way of his faithful ones.^(A)
9 Then you will understand righteousness and justice
    and equity, every good path,^(B)

²⁰ I walk in the way of righteousness,
    along the paths of justice,

⁵ The thoughts of the righteous are just;
    the advice of the wicked is treacherous.

²³ The field of the poor may yield much food,
    but it is swept away through injustice.^(A)

¹⁰ Inspired decisions are on the lips of a king;
    his mouth does not sin in judgment.
¹¹ Honest balances and scales are the Lord’s;
    all the weights in the bag are his work.^(A)
12 It is an abomination to kings to do evil,
    for the throne is established by righteousness.^(B)
