spreads ^(B)a net for his feet.

²⁴He who ^[a]divides the spoil with a thief hates his own soul;
He ^(A)hears the oath but declares nothing.

²⁴The partner of a thief ^(A)hates his own life;
^(B)he hears the curse, but discloses nothing.
