29 ^(A)He who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck,
will suddenly be ^(B)broken ^(C)beyond healing.

will be suddenly broken, beyond healing.

¹⁸Where ^(A)there is no prophetic vision the people ^(B)cast off restraint,^[a]
but blessed is he who ^(C)keeps the law.

¹⁸When there’s no vision, the people get out of control,
but whoever obeys instruction is happy.
