⁴ By justice a king brings stability to a land,^(A)
but a man who demands “contributions”^[a]
demolishes it.^(B)

⁵ A man who flatters^[b] his neighbor
spreads a net for his feet.^(C)

⁶ An evil man is caught by sin,^(D)
but the righteous one sings and rejoices.^(E)
