²⁶He who ^(A)trusts in his own heart is a fool,
But he who walks wisely will escape.

Proverbs 28:26

New International Version

²⁶Those who trust in themselves are fools,^(A)
but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe.^(B)

⁶By transgression an evil man is ^(A)ensnared,
But the righteous ^(B)sings with joy and is glad.

⁶Evildoers are snared by their own sin,^(A)
but the righteous shout for joy and are glad.
