but the poor who has understanding sees through him.

English Standard Version

¹¹A rich man is wise in his ^(A)own eyes,
but a poor man who has understanding ^(B)will find him out.

¹³He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper,
but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

¹³Whoever ^(A)conceals his transgressions will not prosper,
but he who ^(B)confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

²⁵One who is greedy stirs up strife;
but one who trusts in Yahweh will prosper.

²⁵A greedy man ^(A)stirs up strife,
but the one who trusts in the Lord will ^(B)be enriched.
