¹¹The rich man is wise in his own eyes,
But the poor who has understanding searches him out.

¹¹The rich man is wise in his own conceit;
but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.

¹³^(A)He who covers his sins will not prosper,
But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

¹³He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

²⁵^(A)He who is of a proud heart stirs up strife,
^(B)But he who trusts in the Lord will be prospered.

²⁵He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife:
but he that putteth his trust in the Lord shall be made fat.
