Proverbs 28:10

¹⁰Whoever causes the upright to go astray in an evil way,
he will fall into his own trap;
but the blameless will inherit good.

¹⁰The one who leads the upright into an evil way
will fall into his own pit,^(A)

¹⁸Whoever walks blamelessly is kept safe;
but one with perverse ways will fall suddenly.

¹⁸The one who lives with integrity will be helped,
but one who distorts right and wrong^[a]
will suddenly fall.^(A)

²⁰A faithful man is rich with blessings;
but one who is eager to be rich will not go unpunished.

²⁰A faithful man will have many blessings,^(A)
but one in a hurry to get rich^(B)
will not go unpunished.
