Proverbs 28:18-20

¹⁸ The one who lives with integrity will be helped,
but one who distorts right and wrong^[a]
will suddenly fall.^(A)

¹⁹ The one who works his land
will have plenty of food,^(B)
but whoever chases fantasies
will have his fill of poverty.^(C)

²⁰ A faithful person will have many blessings,^(D)
but one in a hurry to get rich^(E)
will not go unpunished.
