28 ^(A)The wicked flee when no one pursues,
    but ^(B)the righteous are bold as a lion.

⁴ Those who forsake the law ^(A)praise the wicked,
    but those who keep the law ^(B)strive against them.

¹² When ^(A)the righteous triumph, there is great glory,
    but when ^(B)the wicked rise, people hide themselves.

²⁸ When ^(A)the wicked rise, ^(B)people hide themselves,
    but when they perish, the righteous increase.

² When ^(A)the righteous increase, the people rejoice,
    but when ^(B)the wicked rule, the people groan.

⁷ A righteous man ^(A)knows the rights of the poor;
    a wicked man does not ^(B)understand such knowledge.

¹⁶ When the wicked increase, transgression increases,
    but ^(A)the righteous will look upon their downfall.

^27 (A)An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous,
    but one whose way is straight is an abomination to the wicked.
