⁷A full soul loathes a honeycomb;
but to a hungry soul, every bitter thing is sweet.

⁷The full soul ^[a]loatheth a honeycomb;
But to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.

¹⁹Like water reflects a face,
so a man’s heart reflects the man.

¹⁹^[a]As in water face answereth to face,
So the heart of man to man.

Proverbs 27:19 Or, As water showeth face to face, so the heart showeth man to man

and the furnace for gold;
but man is refined by his praise.
