²⁰^(A)Sheol and Abaddon are ^(B)never satisfied,
So the ^(C)eyes of man are never satisfied.

New International Version

²⁰Death and Destruction^[a] are never satisfied,^(A)
and neither are human eyes.^(B)

⁸All things are wearisome;
Man is not able to speak of it.
^(A)The eye is not satisfied with seeing,
Nor is the ear filled with hearing.

⁸All things are wearisome,
more than one can say.
The eye never has enough of seeing,^(A)
nor the ear its fill of hearing.
