⁵ Do you make your eyes fly up to see it? But it is not there!
Because ^(C)it certainly makes itself wings
Like an eagle that flies toward the heavens.

¹¹ The rich man is ^(A)wise in his own eyes,
But the lowly who understands ^[a]searches him.

^19 (A)He who cultivates his ground will be ^(B)satisfied with food,
But he who pursues empty things will be satisfied with poverty.
²⁰ A ^(C)faithful man will abound with blessings,
But he who ^(D)makes haste to be rich will not go unpunished.

²² A man with an ^(A)evil eye ^(B)hurries after wealth
And does not know that want will come upon him.

²⁵ An ^[a]arrogant man ^(A)stirs up strife,
But he who ^(B)trusts in Yahweh ^(C)will ^[b]be enriched.

⁸ Keep worthlessness and every false word far from me,
Give me neither poverty nor riches;
Feed me with the ^(A)food that is my portion,
⁹ Lest I be ^(B)full and deny ^(C)You and say, “Who is Yahweh?”
Or lest I be ^(D)impoverished and steal,
And ^[a](E)profane the name of my God.
