Proverbs 22:16

¹⁶Whoever oppresses the poor to increase his own wealth,
or gives to the rich, ^(A)will only come to poverty.

¹⁶A person who gets ahead by oppressing the poor
or by showering gifts on the rich will end in poverty.

²⁸Do not move the ancient ^(A)landmark
that your fathers have set.

²⁸Don’t cheat your neighbor by moving the ancient boundary markers
set up by previous generations.
