Proverbs 22:28-29

New International Version

²⁸Do not move an ancient boundary stone^(A)
set up by your ancestors.

²⁹Do you see someone skilled^(B) in their work?
They will serve^(C) before kings;^(D)
they will not serve before officials of low rank.

²⁸Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

²⁹Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
