²³ Then when he arrived and ^[a]witnessed ^(A)the grace of God, he rejoiced and began to encourage them all with ^[b]resolute heart to remain true to the Lord;

¹⁴ while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you.

^7 [a]For ^(A)it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I ^(B)have you in my heart, since both in my ^[b](C)imprisonment and in the ^(D)defense and confirmation of the ^(E)gospel, you all are ^[c]partakers of grace with me.

^9 (A)Do not be misled by varied and strange teachings; for it is good for the heart to ^(B)be strengthened by grace, not by ^(C)foods, ^(D)through which those who ^[a]were so occupied were not benefited.
