Proverbs 21:26-28

²⁶There is one who covets greedily all day long, but the righteous gives and keeps on giving.

²⁷¶ The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination; how much more, when he brings it with lewdness?

²⁸¶ The false witness shall perish, but the man that hears shall stand fast in his word.

Proverbs 21:26-28

New International Version

²⁶All day long he craves for more,
but the righteous^(A) give without sparing.^(B)

²⁷The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable^(C)—
how much more so when brought with evil intent!^(D)

²⁸A false witness^(E) will perish,^(F)
but a careful listener will testify successfully.
